Cairn has held a series of roles during her career that has directly contributed to her success. She began her career during college as an advocate for community engagement, which launched her career in volunteerism. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Central College in Pella, Iowa. Cairn would go on to advance through the professional ranks, holding a wide variety of positions and gaining invaluable experience. Some of the more distinguished and notable positions she held include: Regional Volunteer Services Officer with the American Red Cross, a Training Consultant for the Workforce Development Department at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, and a Project Manager for the National American Red Cross Volunteer Services Operations Team. In addition to her distinguished professional experience, she went on to obtain her Volunteer Administration certification, the first person in North Dakota to do so.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner and fur babies. They love to travel and spend time exploring unique culinary experiences in new cities.
